What is Asian American Culture & Art Association Arizona?

History about AACAA Arizona 

For many years, Ms. Kong has been supportive and passionate on creative, art related and cultural activities. She owns Dance Studio, which hosting various cultural and art activities. It became a proactive involvement in promoting artistic expression and creating a space for cultural events.

Through those social events, Ms. Kong has had the opportunity to meet and connect with many talented Asian immigrants. Those experiences bring her a new world to understand the richness of individual stories and talents within the community.

Ms. Kong realized the importance of integrating, but also more challenged for Asian immigrants. There is a need to create a bridge, a stage, a space, for those new Asian immigrants to express the cultural and social complexities, to get self-confidence and integrated with the new society. 

Thus, Ms. Kong and the group of passionate individuals who share a common goal, established this cultural and arts association, in order to provide a stage and bridge for Asians, as ethnic minorities, to express themselves. This association aims to showcase the beauty of native art and culture, facilitating a smoother integration into the new society; serves as a hub for cultural exchange, artistic collaboration, and community support.

The establishment of the cultural and arts association reflect a deep commitment to fostering a platform for cultural expression and integration.


Chapter 1 General Provisions

(1) Asian America Culture & Art Association of Arizona. Abbreviated as "AACAA Arizona".

(2) The "AACAA Arizona".; is an international cultural and artistic alliance composed of

artists and enthusiasts from Asian countries who are passionate about culture and art.

(3) The purpose of the" AACAA Arizona" is: Unite, Present, Promote and Integrate,

---Unite Asian American artists, writers and folk literature lovers.

--- Showcasing the literary and artistic talents of overseas Asian American and tapping

the inherent literary and artistic potential of Asian immigrants.

----Promote Asian traditions and emerging cultures

----Promote international cultural and artistic exchanges and integration and achieve

equal open art space

(4)  "AACAA Arizona "registration number in Arizona, USA: 92-2318509,a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

(5) The Association is a non-profit arts organization and accepts the supervision of

federal government agencies on the management and supervision of special arts

sponsorship funds.

(6) The office headquarters of the "AACAA Arizona" is located in Arizona, USA.

Chapter 2 Scope of Work

(1) Carry out activities to promote cultural and artistic exchanges in the Asian

community and invite art and cultural friends from various countries to interact and

communicate.

(2) Organize various cultural entertainment parties and cultural exchanges, and develop

a platform for all types of folk literature and art lovers to interact, learn and visit.

(3) Forming a dance team and drama performance group with the participation of

literary and art lovers to become a stage and medium for people to show their strength.

Chapter 3 Members

(1) Artists, literary enthusiasts, scholars, and cultural entrepreneurs who support the

charter of the "AACAA Arizona"; and are interested and enthusiastic in promoting Asian.

culture can apply to join the "AACAA Arizona".

(2) Members of the Association have priority in various activities and have the right to

criticize, suggest and supervise the Association. Membership is voluntary and members

are free to withdraw (those who have not paid association dues will not be recognized as

members by the Association).

(3) Implement the resolutions of the association to safeguard the legitimate rights and

interests of the association. According to regulations, all association members should

pay membership dues.

Chapter 4 Organizational Structure

(1) The chairman, vice-chairmen, committees and members of this association must

meet the following conditions:

Artists, literary enthusiasts, scholars, and cultural entrepreneurs who are interested and

passionate in the exchange of Asian culture and art.

(2) The Standing Council decides on the management of the organization. Report work

and financial status on major events and amend the articles of association.

Chapter 5 Asset Management

(1) The association’s funding sources, membership dues, federal government special art

fund funding and exhibition activity service fees, social donations, interest and other

legitimate income.

(2) The association has a financial management system and is subject to the supervision

of the financial department except for regular office expenses.

(3) The "AACAA Arizona " determines that committee members who have not carried

out any work within two years will automatically give up their right to hold office and

can be cancelled.

Supplementary Provisions

This Article of Association has been voted and approved by the Board of Directors. The

right of interpretation belongs to the Association’s Board of Directors. The Articles of

Association shall take effect from the date of approval by the registration and

management authority of the federal government.
