Mission Statement

To provide and promote cultural and artistic exchanges in The Asian Community and invite friends from the art and cultural circles of various countries for interactive exchanges."

1.Provide and Promote Cultural and Artistic Exchanges: This is a proactive role in facilitating cultural and artistic interactions. Our organization is not only creating opportunities for these exchanges but also actively promoting and supporting them.

2.Focus on The Asian Community: The primary emphasis on the Asian community signifies a commitment to addressing the specific cultural needs and expressions within this group. This focus can contribute to a sense of identity and community among its members.

3.Invite Friends from Art and Cultural Circles of Various Countries: The inclusivity of inviting friends from diverse cultural backgrounds broadens the scope of the exchanges. This international perspective can lead to a rich tapestry of experiences, ideas, and artistic expressions.

4.Interactive Exchanges: This is our goal is not only to showcase cultures and arts but also to encourage meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and mutual understanding.

  


Our Future Plan

We are Focus on Personal and Cultural Strengths: 

1.Recognizing and building upon the unique strengths of individuals and the broader cultural context. By doing so, it is a positive and empowering approach to personal and collective development.

2.Supplemented by Passion and Profound Knowledge: The combination of passion and deep knowledge enhances the commitment and expertise within the community. This can lead to a more enriched and fulfilling experience for the members.

3.Connecting Through Unique Activities: The use of unique activities fosters a sense of engagement and collaboration. It could be a way to bring people together, promote teamwork, and create a positive and inclusive community atmosphere.

4.Having Fun and Engaging in the Community: Emphasizing enjoyment and engagement suggests a focus on creating a positive and vibrant community where members actively participate and find joy in the shared experiences.

5.Sharing Valuable Aspects of Culture: The community appears to have a mission of cultural exchange and mutual understanding. Members are encouraged to share the most valuable aspects of their culture with others, promoting diversity and cross-cultural communication.

Vice-President: Lisa Ritchie

  • Master of Finance and Engineering, vice president of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, real estate expert, passionate about public welfare, serving the community and promoting the development of Asian culture 

Vice-President Jessica Zhang:

  • Literary and Art Minister during school era: involvement in managing or organizing literary and art-related events or activities; responsible for coordinating cultural and artistic programs, fostering creativity, and supporting artistic endeavors. Also been an active performer as singer and reciter of poems, and Master of Ceremonies (MC). 
  • Professional Experience in Major Banks (China and the United States):
  • Significant work experience in the banking industry in both China and the United States. Main roles include finance, management, or other positions within the banking sector.
  • Event planner, host and MC:
  • Skilled in hosting events and serving as a Master of Ceremonies (MC).
  • This role involves engaging with the audience, introducing speakers, and maintaining the flow and energy of an event. Her role also involves planning events and managing logistics and ensuring the smooth execution of performance on an event.

John Lee: 

  • Ph.D. 
  • President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce Arizona, which is an organization that represents the interests of Arizona Chinese businesses and entrepreneurs. The president is likely responsible for overseeing and American the organization's activities and advocating for the interests of its members.
  • Vice President of UCA: academic leadership and administration.
  • Business Owner: This individual owns a business, responsibility for the overall management, strategy, and success of the enterprise.

Xu Qiang:

  • President of Ruolan Academy.
  • Past experience: 
  • Middle school physics teacher, college orchestra conductor, college English and Chinese teacher, middle school teacher certified to teach mathematics, English, ESL, Chinese and gifted children.
  • Community duties: 
  • Honorary President of Arizona Chinese Association (ACA).
  • Chairman of the Board Directors of the Association of Chinese-American Scientists and Engineers-Phoenix Chapter (ACSE).
  • Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arizona Yunnan Association. 
  • Chinese secretary of Chinese United Association of Greater Phoenix (CUAGP)

Kai Ying Li, 

  • President and Publisher of AZ Chinese News and Arizona Chinese American.
  • AZ Chinese News serves as a hub for community updates, events, and relevant news for the Chinese community in Arizona. More comprehensive information on the recent updates in Arizona is covered in the content of Arizona Chinese American. We promote cultural events and community initiatives and foster a sense of unity and identity among Chinese and Chinese Americans in Arizona.

Connie Wu: 

  • Health Care consultant provides consulting services in the field of healthcare. Health care consultants may offer expertise in areas such as healthcare management, policy, operations, or strategy to organizations within the healthcare industry. 
  • Certified Occupational Therapist; completed the necessary education and training requirements to practice as an occupational therapist
  • love Asian traditional dance. Also encompasses a wide range of traditional dance forms from various Asian cultures, each with its own unique styles, costumes, and cultural.

Chen Zhigang: 

  • Cello and string teacher, a passion and talent for classical or contemporary music, and involvement in musical performances or events Offen.
  • President of Sichuan and Chongqing Association, involve overseeing the organization's activities, representing the association, and fostering connections within the community.
  • Member of Phoenix-Chengdu sister city. involvement in fostering cultural and economic ties between the cities of Phoenix and Chengdu (in Sichuan, China). Sister city relationships often involve cultural exchanges, economic cooperation, and diplomatic initiatives.

Andy Zhang 

  • Supply Chain IT Consultant, specializing in supply chain system implementation and optimization. Very active in community services.

 

Jia Besco:

  • TV Video Editor, Board member of UCA, high school math and Mandarin Chinese teacher, business owner, minority entrepreneur.
